PADI Open water diver This course will take 3 or 4 days. The training program consist of 3 main elements: - Diving knowledge; you will learn the basics and all the safety stuff you need to be a safe diver. - Confined water training; you will take your first steps in the underwaterworld in the pool to get used to the equipment and train the basis skills needed. - Openwater training dives: the real stuff. Your instructor will take you to one of the numerous dive locations and will introduce you to the fish. Totally you will make 4 openwater dives. After completion of the theoretical part and having passed the exam your instructor will be proud to sign your PIC (Positive identification Card). He will send it to PADI and they will send you your licence card after a couple of weeks. In the meantime you can use the temporary card.
